There are certain skills that are required on priority in terms of HGV Driving. These are:

• Ability to focus
• Patient driving at any point of time is both during day or night time.
• Able to complete paperwork when the person is completing deliveries
• Having good communication skills when delivering various goods.
• One should have an excellent understanding of road safety & proper knowledge of HGV’s which includes safe loading and unloading.
• One should be able to work independently to solve various problems on the way.

Also, some people specifically undergo Training depending on the type of licence such as LGV Cat C Training, HGV C+E Training, etc.
